Posted January 13, 2018 12:18:23The word “cool” in the title of this article is a reference to the word “street”, which is used as a synonym for art, so that sounds pretty cool.
The article says that this piece, by local artist and designer Paul O’Brien, is one of his “cool street” pieces, which in itself sounds pretty impressive.
The piece is titled “Shadows of the City” and it is based on the idea of the city’s shadows as “living” and “dying” beings.
“The shadows are our city,” O’Brian says.
“It’s all about the city and its death.
It’s a story of what happens when we lose the connection between ourselves and what we see.
The shadows are part of us.”
In the piece, O’Briens shadow is silhouetted by the cityscape, which is made up of the sun, the stars and other celestial bodies.
“We all have shadows,” he explains.
“I think it’s a great metaphor.
It could be any of us.
It has to be you.
And it has to change.
And I think the shadows have a lot to do with what’s happening in our lives.
It affects us in the physical world, but also our subconscious and our inner lives.
When we’re alone, our shadows will be the only ones that we can see.”
While it is certainly a visual experience, it is also an experience that may be hard to comprehend for people who aren’t familiar with the term.
O’Brins website and Facebook page include a number of posts that are very graphic, including some that are titled “It was a dream” and one that says, “A man died and I still remember him.”
O’Brien says the idea for the piece came to him after he had a dream about a woman falling asleep in a car, and that he didn’t want to disturb her.
“The dream had an emotional and spiritual element,” he says.
The piece has a very dark subject matter, with O’Brendons “shadow” standing in the shadow of a man that has died.
“I wanted to have a dark, mysterious and sinister feeling to it,” Obrin says.
He says the “shadows” are the result of “the human reaction to death” and that they are “a way to take us back to a time when we were lost and we were just not ready.”
Obrins Facebook page also contains a number images that are reminiscent of a certain movie, “Dark City,” which is set in a dystopian future where crime is rampant and drugs and crime are commonplace.
The artwork also seems to be a reference of the work of Brazilian artist and painter Pedro de Souza.
O’Brendins work is inspired by the art of Pedro de Sousa, a Brazilian artist who also worked in the 1960s and 70s.
Obrins artwork is also very different from that of Pedro’s.
O”Sousa’s work has a lot of symbolism,” O”Brendins says.
They’re a kind of death.””
The shadows can be very personal and very emotional.
They’re a kind of death.”
O”Brendin’s work is not a “cool art” piece, but he does think it has a “dark” feel.”
I think it could be interpreted in different ways.”OBrins work comes with a $250 fee for the work, which he says will be donated to the SABRA Youth Centre, a group that helps children with disabilities in the city. “
There’s a lot more to it than that.
I think it could be interpreted in different ways.”OBrins work comes with a $250 fee for the work, which he says will be donated to the SABRA Youth Centre, a group that helps children with disabilities in the city.
OBrins also says that he plans to release his work on a digital version that will allow people to view it and make comments.
Obrin has been doing street art in the Brunswick Street area of Halifax for several years, and has been featured in various publications including CBC Halifax, The National Post and CBC Nova Scotia.
